How Can sleep Apnea Along With Breathlessness In A Child Be Treated?

My baby of 2years old had problems with his breathing/obstructed breathing/sleep apnea and snoring since 6months old. He had an operation to remove his adenoids last November 2016. After the operation the snoring was good and he had amazing sleep. The 1st February 2017 he got a cold and after that the snoring and restless sleep returned. My question is, can adenoids return so quickly after it was taken out? And if its not the adenoids that s giving him problems then what is another reason for his snoring and obstructed breathing? Thanks for you advice Kind Regards Claudine Roberts

Hi,

Were the tonsils also removed? Please go for a diagnostic nasal endoscopy to find out if the adenoids are remnant or are it the tonsils.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
